i've been looking around and it looks like the routing is a little different but i figured one of you guys would know i'm away at school and can't look under my car

I can be made to fit, but it does not bolt on.
If you get a good deal and a friend who can weld, then grab it. Otherwise you'll be spending a bunch to have it installed.

i have access to a welder and someone who knows to weld better than me, the guy who's selling it said he cut about a foot and a half off the end by where it bolts to the cat. i need a new cat anyway, and universals are cheaper than the bolt-ons. do you know if the hangers and rest of it will match up if i weld on new flanges and the tubing to make it reach? its from coupe --> coupe thanks

You'll have to add the hangers on the drivers side in the rear for the second muffler. otherwise I think all the hangers are the same.
Since you've got a friend who welds then it won't be a big deal.
I don't really see any disadvantage to it. You already know it's going to require some fab work, so as long as you're ok with that, go for it.
