please HELP! radio code for 99 honda accord ex
I recently replaced the battery in my 99 honda accord ex..... SURPRISE! the car was bought used and of course I don't have the code card. Plus, i've looked all over the car and the internet for a code for my radio. its serial number is M98K25972. The dealership was no help at all. please someone bail me out. Thanks
The dealership is suppose to help you out, The little ******. You have the serial number and the vin number, there should be no problem. They probably want money. Just walk in and explain to them what your problem is. Come with the car so they see its in the car. Just so they don't think anything stupid.
Another option is if you have a mechanic, Ask him to call Acura or Honda parts and get the code. He can tell them he replaced the battery, he messed up and he needs the code or his customer will be pissed. It will seem more legit with a shop calling the dealership + a mechanic who deals with Honda/Acura all the time will know the parts guys a little better.
