Extending radiator hoses

Would extending radiator hoses cause any problems? How much would I be able to add without problems?

Edit; Also would 90 degree bends be problems?

Nope and nope. We've done it so that we've used pipe (copper, stainless, etc) and then just hoseclamped it on.
