i bought a Jdm short block

There is no VIN on the block, but only this code. must be an early 90's model..

i was thinking since its a DOHC VTEC Motor. should i just select the 2000 Si Parts?

i just wanna be 100% sure its the right part bfore ordering

B16A = B16A2 (from a 2000 Si, or SiR, in canada.)
All the parts are identical.

It's going to depend on which parts you're buying. I mean, what OBD is it? I'm not really up to date on any of that stuff, so I can't tell you.

I remember there should be a head code on it that indicates the year though.

 

im just getting headgaskets and timing belt stuff. and its came with an obd1 harness.
