I replaced the motor on my moms 01 honda accord. Its a 4 cylinder. Now the car won't start. I can't shift the car out of park. I can only shift it out of park if I use the manual bypass. Also if the car is in drive I can remove the key. Anybody have any suggestions on where to start? I've double checked all the connections and they all seem fine.

 

double check it again something is disconnected

 

What motor did you replace it with? Why did you replace the motor? Did you use the same ECU? Did you have any of these issues before the swap?

 

I replaced it with another stock motor. I'll recheck everything tonight.
