older steering wheel on newer car. Can it be wired in to function with srs?
I have an 2000 db7 that came with a steering wheel that appears to be out of an eg (99% sure) I know that theres a connector issue, but the controls are the same, im wondering if its possible to simply cut the 2 wires and wire them straight to make the wheel function properly. Optimally id like for cruise to work as well, but I'll take what i can get.
Thanks!
Thanks!
im confused, the connectors that im referring to are at the bottom of the wheel, the yellow ones, they seem to be very simple, are you saying that the length of the wires would impede me turning it if i spliced them?

You can use an OBD2 airbag connector on the EG airbag, but it is tricky as the + and - wires are the same color.
