Building a motor from ground up......need info!!!!!
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttsss everyone?????
I'm building a ls/vtec turbo......i'm gonna push 15lbs so i need info on what i would need.......
I have.......
**B16 head W/ stock intake mani......stock throttle Body.....and stock cams!
**B18c1 (i thnk) stock....
I'm gonna send the block and head to machine shop to get worked...
as i am building this from the ground up i need to know all the little stuff and the big stuff on what to get done.......
I'm gonna have the crank micro polished (i'm using the stock ls crank as the ls cranks are bullet proof) i'm gonna have it done up to with stand alot of power more than the 15lbs i'm GONNA push.
But i need the details...
what kind of intake should i use???
can i use type R cams???
what level should i go for the low comp pistons????
A friend has a set of RC 450cc's are they good enough for the project i'm doing???

search man this is a wide topic to cover in one post,
also the ls crankshaft is bullet proof if you use the right bullets, my browning 50cal would demolish that crankshaft.

The B18c1 is not an LS, its a GSR. So unless you get an LS crank and install it into the GSR block its not an LS/Vtec.
Do your own research then come here with your decision to ask for advice.
