Pls Help, engine area making whining noise after I ran through puddle.
Yesterday I had to run through this big a$$ puddle and my car was fine. This morning when I started it up before going to work, it made a whining noise. Sounds like its coming from somewhere by all the belts. You guys think its something to do with power steering? I drove to work and back home fine, the car just whines kind of loud and it gets louder when I accelerate the car. I can't identify exactly where the sound is coming from. Any advice/suggestions? I have a 97 ex d16y8. Thanks in advance.

hahahahahahahahahahhaahahahahahaha. thats great. i'll try the belt conditioner tomorrow and let you guys know. thanks for the advice.
