Default battery in the trunk; who did it?

i'm considering a swap (94 Coupe, H22A going in there) and i thought about moving the battery to the trunk, to clear some space...

is there a huge difference in weight distribution with it back there? i heard it could last longer because it was cooler in the trunk, is that a myth? are they selling kits for that?

sorry if it's already been discussed, i kept getting "no content was found matching that criteria" everytime i searched.

I've done it.

I ran a 12ft piece of Moster Cable, 4 gauge, from the fuse box to the back, and a 12ft piece from the starter to the back. Mount a battery box, and your pretty much done. A ground is easy to find back there.

yes they sell kits...... weight distribution for something minor seems senseless unless your car is strictly drag in which case you better take those heavy windshield wipers off.....
