Default dizzzzzzzzzzzy

i here it on h-t all the time. what is a dizzy? dose a jdm h22 obd1 have it? a general discription along with a pic of 2 would be great. im just curious?

why is it called a dizzy then. why not a disturbitor? is that like the h-t lingo for it or is there some thing different about it?

when a common word is used obviously an abbreviation of sorts is came up with cai = cold air intake tb timing belt and or throttle body i guess, etc... its just one of those things lol

Google works really well for finding out what a slang term means. Or wikipedia. But, yes, all the above posts are correct dizzy= distributor.

dizzy = distributor
tranny = transmission
dizzy tranny = dude in a dress that got punched in the head for being a dude in a dress

None of these terms are specific to H-T or Hondas. They are used throughout the entire automotive industry.

its usually just because calling it something else is easier/shorter.
why are ppl named Richard called "dick"?
why are motorcycles called "bikes"?
why is "Ethylene glycol" called coolant or anitfreeze?
why is it called a "blow job" when when she sucks?

Its just one of those things u go with.

and since u asked about the dizzy/distributor... JDM distributors have an internal ignition coil, and USDM prelude distributors utilize an external ignition coil
