Default Can some please confirm whether or not I need a resistor box

I have precision 650cc injectors and I need to know do I need a resistor box. On the web site it says they don't and i called precision and the guy on the phone said they don't. On the other hand people are telling me I do. Above 525cc the rest on the web site other than the 650's show that they need a resistor box. If anyone could help me out i would appreciate it.

depends on your setup and what type of injector you purchased....who cares what people on honda-tech say, half of them are wrong half the time anyways? dont like your odds? trust the manufacturer.....theres your answer

Well, is your current fuel system a saturated type? If so then for peak and hold style injectors you will need some form of resistors. You can go the easy route and solder some in line, from the harness(scroll down halfway) http://homemadeturbo.com/tech_....html

hmt style

Thanks for that link. So saturated injectors need a resistor box?

the 650cc precision injectors are high impedence aka saturated. you do not need a resistor box with these. why would the precision site and tech give you misinformation?

fyi - RC has 750cc and bosch is now making 1000cc saturated injectors. so not always do the larger sizes need a box. its purely determined on resistance

EDIT: i am of course assuming you have a 92-00 civic since you are posting in this forum

I thought it was unlikly that they would say i don't need a resistor box when i did but a couple other people said i did. I couldn't get the car to start with the 650's but when i put the stock ones in it would start. So the problem was either the base map or i need a resistor box. I wanted to rule out that the problem was a resistor box. So thanks for your info.

if the car isnt starting in 650 then the map isnt scaled correctly and giving the wrong amount of fuel. get that thing tuned
