Default Plugz and wires

My Ludie is a daily driver and i just about to do my 1st tune up on it. One of my sources tells me that it doesnt really matter the plugs or wires I put into it. I bought some NGK plugs and im fixing to go to Pep Boys to get some whatever wires for it. Does it REALLY matter if I get the fancy expensive stuff or what?

Plugs = NGK ZFR6F11

Wires = Stock Honda wires work really well for a DD.

Stock wires are fine. I bought NGK wires for mine but only because when I got the car it had some no name ****.
