Default Prelude Grills

I have a '99 Prelude with the crisscross/honey comb grill. Ive noticed that others have a
civic style grill. Can someone explain to me why that is? Is it a diff year or what?

97 & 98 have the horizontal slats, 99-01 have the honey comb

Yes they are and I'm sure you'll find plenty of people to trade with you (myself included). If you're interested in a swap please PM me.

Mine originally had the honey comb grill, but it was rebuilt after an accident and the shop/owner put in the '97-'98 style grill instead. I like it better than honeycomb myself.

before someone tries to pull a quick one on you, the "slice" style grille is only worth about $20 bucks. i know because i have 3 of them

the honey comb on the other hand, is worth about $70 to $100 depending on whether it has the emblem and condition and your overall urgency to sell.

so to you, i would recommend never doing a flat swap because when you regret it, it'll cost you more to get the honey comb back.

also in japan and europe and etc, some of the newer (99+) don't even come with the honey comb as it's a type-S option or something or other, i forget. and they have a gunmetal colored one worth about $200 to $300 dollars. sheesh, just for some paint?
