Default Engine Trouble Code - Am I reading this right?

So I got the car running but now I have a check engine light, I've looked at several threads about how to read the light but its still a bit hazy. This is an '88 D15 OBD1 computer by the way.

Anyways... it blinks 10 times steadily, then a pause, and then 10 blinks again.. keeps doing that over and over. So I assume that's supposed to be code 10?

Code 10 says: Intake Air Temperature?

well if its blinking then its not obd1, its obd0. and yes 10 blinks is for the IAT sensor.

whoops, sorry that's what I meant OBD0 - and thanks for the clarification... now as far as the IAT sensor .. does it just need to be replaced usually? Or is there something else that causes the code?

Thanks for the suggestion, I will check on that. I did indeed recently swap a blown D15 for a fresh one.
