LS-V Won't Turn Over - NEED HELP!!!
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me on this one.
Yesterday I was backing out of my parking spot and stalled the car. When I went to start it back up, it just kept cranking, but wouldn't turn over. It acted like I was out of gas, but I have a full tank. I went to try to start it again today, and same thing, just kept cranking. I figure it's either not getting any gas or not getting any spark. I did have an issue starting it when it was run for a while on a long trip. I ran it for 6 hrs, and when I shut it down, it cranked for a bit but didn't turn over. After 3 or so tries, it reluctantly started up again. This only happened twice in random occurances, but both were when the car was run for a long period of time and the engine was fully warmed up. This time, the car was cold.
It's been raining a lot here in DC and I'm not sure if that has something to do with it. I once had a Prelude that did the same thing when condensation built up inside the car. It was a relay under the dash. Do DC teg's have this relay? Did anyone have an issue like this? Any help at all would be appreciated. If I don't get it started tomorrow I'll have to tow it, which I don't want to do. For the price of the tow, I could probably fix the car.
I know it could be a broad range of issues, but any help is greatly appreciated.
BTW, it's not the timing belt, I have exposed cam gears and the belt's fine.
