Does anyone know if the main bearings are the same for the H22 97-99 and H23? I need to know ASAP if they are or not. Thanks for your help guys!

 

i belive 97-99 are bigger. h23 should be the same... right? anyone confirm or deny? but not matter what you have to match the code on the block and the crank to know which color you need. see helms...

 

So the H22 Bearing will not fit in an H23? I've got the JDM H23 vtec motor and there are no markings on the crank. I have to get the crank center line bored and balanced to get the proper clearances.

 

i love hearing questions like this.... i dont even think people on superhonda know where main bearings go....

jdm cranks differ by year. the only way you will figure out which color you need is to match up the numbers (crank and block) and look it up in the helms or call honda with the codes. Most likely they will be on back order. I ordered mine straight from japan so i wouldnt have these issues. no matter what you will not use used mains. SO, just match the numbers and call honda. good luck!
