Default 5th gen shocks fit on a 4th gen?

Does anyone know if the factory shocks from a 5th gen will fit on a 4th gen lude? I think my car was lowered by just screwing with the stock springs in some way and i want to bring it up to the original height. so im just trying to get some used suspension.

the only way to lower the car by "screwing it down" would be with coilovers. Not factory springs.
I've got stock springs and struts if your interested, both with 80k miles on them from my 4th gen if your interested.
To answer your question: 5th gen base and 4th gen (all trim levels) are interchangeable. 5th gen sh suspension components will not interchange with either.

is it not possible to cut or heat treat the springs to lower? Because the ones on my car look stock. Either way though, I want it higher and if you have the parts, I want them. Price/location? I live in saskatchewan, canada.

5th gen SH shocks and springs will fit a 4th gen, but you have to swap them over together. You can't mix 4th gen and 5th gen base springs on SH shocks, nor SH springs on base shocks. Anyway, I too have some stock shocks and springs if you want them

If 4th and 5th struts are interchangeable, are there any differences (height) at all???

For you, your passenger's, and everyone around youse sake, do NOT cut the stock springs.

The height is the same though. As stated above, you just can't mix and match SH with everything else. It's gotta be one or the other.

cable tie hose to the shock... thats what most people do when they change to coilovers that don't have the bracket....
