well brakes still mechanically work if abs is unpluged wire harnes wise??????
like it states i just want to know if my brake will still work if the abs is not plugged in, i know you will wont to know why i have a reason for askign but dont want to get into all that....i just need someone to let me know it the brakes will still work properly or not, just ayes or no answer please! thnaks guys
Right, they will work fine but will lock up when you completely floor the pedal. and yes a code will be thrown.
Note that if you unplug one sensor, you may have the car prevent lockup on three of the 4 wheels, causing it to slide if you lockup the other. Again, this is only AT THE LIMIT, meaning you are pushing the tires to the limit of grip, as in flooring the brake pedal, or driving on ice.

Some abs systems control your brake bias/distribution.
The lack of abs could make the brakes unpredictable or cause undesirable results. The brake system could also work like a normal non abs system would.
