Legend 2-piston caliper pics (dial up go away)
To use these on an ITR you will have to swap them form side to side to ensure the bleed screw is on top for correct bleeding.
Not the prettiest things I've ever seen, but
.
What's involved with making them work? (Besides swapping L and R) Do they bolt on with stock rotors?

Autozone rotors own! Just put mine on, and i swear they are worth more than the 25 i paid for them, especially since im gonna put some hard pads on them and beat them to hell so i can get new rotors.haha. i love warranties.
Rguy, who wonders if willard got the calipers at a junk yard.

will those things look like something Indiana Jones would have found on one of his adventures

I am noticing the little raised areas (ribs) on the NSX caliper brackets... wonder if that is why you have to shim them when using stock ITR rotors...
Willard, these are heat sinks? Have the same effect as those tiny sinks on RC car motors? Remember those? Just to let the caliper cool off faster.
Also, its not the sinks that require it to shim. Im thinking we need to shim because the offset of the Legend rotor is different or the width of the Legend rotor makes that much different. I had to shim the caliper bracket about 2-3mm.
This picture might explain it

Will, do the 2 pistons have the same size? It's kind of hard to tell from the pics. If they have different sizes (seems like they are from the pics), the direction should go from the smaller one to the larger one. Swapping sides would reverse the direction.

It sure looks like one of the pistons is larger than the other. Oh, and get this, one of the pistons looks smaller than the other as well! (it's early, bear with me). Will flipping them over cause a problem?
Come on, clean them up and and install them... we want to see them on car...
ps where it is said that Brian of Fastbrakes claims a customer has suffered no undue wear... http://honda.hybrids.jp/forum/showfl...w=&sb=&o=&vc=1
...and still haven't gotten around to investigating these http://www.pureperf.com/brakes/KVR_Python_cal.html with dust seals and $495 loaded...
Zeus- who's sourcing a set with the bigger second piston and finds it interesting that the calipers used on the ITR are also stamped 17CL15VN... wonders if it is not a designation of the size pad the caliper body accepts?
