No Heat!
I put in a new thermostat and reflushed my radiator because i thought that was the problem, but that didn't work. My brother thinks he might of did something when he put on the new motor mounts, anybody have any ideas because i really need my heater. Forgot to mention this is a 5th gen.
does the temp gauge stay in the middle?
If not, you still have a thermostat problem.
If it does, you need to check the valve that the heater cable connects to in order to make sure that it is functioning properly.

The temp gauge still goes up to the middle but when it gets there it still blows out nothing but cold air like the ac is on.

after you car is warmed up check the heater hoses where they go thru the firewall. With your heater on, those hoses should have hot water in them. If they dont then start checking the heater water valve...maybe your brother disconnected the cable or broke it.

Yes please, I'm having the same issue. From the exterior, the cable seems to be moving the valve fine, but I haven't actually opened it up to check. Has anybody experienced the valve staying closed even though the cable on top moves fine? HybridBB6, what were your symptoms before? I don't have hot air, but the airflow goes down about in half when I move the heater control to warm. Was yours the same?

The airflow going down makes no sense at all, but you just might have a clog in your heater core somewhere if your valve is opening and you're getting no heat.
You should probably pop the valve out and make sure the inside is actually opening when the nub on the outside is moving like you were saying.

Mine was just blowing out cold air like the ac was on. What i did to fix was put the wire or whatever it was back onto the heater valve.
