Getting new tires, is it hard to remove the rims?
Saving some money by removing the rims and taking them to the shop myself. Do I need to tap out bearings or anything on an 02 f4i?
Removing is the easy part........putting the rear back on can be kind of tricky......damn rear caliper. It helps to have something on the floor to sort of hold the rear tire up, while you line it up to put the axle through. I use two cordless drill cases.
Do this... it's much better and you may get faster service to. It's not hard, just take care as some bikes have asymmetrical spacers... left side has to go in left side etc
And don't touch your brakes while the rims are off
