I was just wondering 'cause I got pulled over a while ago and the cops where been bitches (I fuking hate them) first they said the reason they pulled me over was because of my taillights (stock) funny shiet huh? then they check out the entire car and said my side markers (with hyper white) where illegal so I got a damn ticket

 

no they aren't illegal, they are perfectly fine, you can fight it easily...and you should win!

Your side marker lights must be their original factory color.
Tail lights can be different so long as your brake lights are red and turn signals are amber or red. Backup lights must also be stock white.

i heard any aftermarket light bulbs are illegal. im using hypers also and so far no such problems. but then again, nowadays, it's hard to for cops to tell fake illegal bulbs from those cars with real hids...unless they know...er nevermind

in some states the law technically denotes that any modifications to a car that do meet originally engineered specifications are illegal. these are mostly states with stringent inspection requirements. yes this is absurd but it makes sense that the state would cover there *** like that. although they would never enforce this law so strcitly.
