Removing the front bumper
Does anyone have a good write up somewhere. I found one on this site but all the pictures are missing and the text isn't very descriptive.
The horn on out 1990 civic hatch stopped working (randomly) all the fuses are still good and all the lights work. I want to tes the horns (there are two) but can't get to them without taking the front bumper off.
Also is there a horn relay I couldn't find it.

Removing the front bumper isn't too difficult.
1.) Remove the screws in the front wheel wells. There should be 2 screws per side.
2.) Remove the bumper lights. For each side there's one screw. Remove screw and slide light out. Remove light bulb from housing.
3.) With the bumper lights removed you now should have access to all the 4 bumper bolts. There's two per side, one right on top of the other. 14mm I believe, and you'll need an extension.
4.) Pull bumper away from car carefully.

ahhh you and your ninja moves
it's pretty simple,
-look at the frontend of your car. use a phillips screwdriver and take out the turn signals on the bumper. pull of the cover and the whole housing where the bulb sits
-go to the fender and you'll see a bracket hold your bumper ( where the moldings are at ) take those phillips screw out ( two on each side )
- grab a 10mm socket with a 4inch extension and unbolt the two 10s your see inside. there should be 4 total ( 2 on each side )
-now you can either ask a friend to help your remove the bumper with you or if you're a man, do it yourself =D

Search. I think I even linked to the autozone DIY. Search Autozone's site, they have it. It was mostly correct.
Turns out it must be something in steering I hit the colum and got the horns working but they stopped again. I can't figure out how to take the steering wheel assy. appart though.
It's a bitch not having a horn, my car came with a ricer steering wheel and the horn didn't work when I got it (haven't tried to fix it yet).
btw, I'm pretty sure you can get to those horns with the front bumper on there? idk
