The clutch won't disengage? The shifter won't go into gear? Or the shifter will go into gear even without the clutch pedal depressed?

Knowing the symptoms can help us figure out if the clutch is not engaging, or is not disengaging.

My brother's car did the same thing - when the old clutch was completely worn down to nothing.

You've got a major issue if that's a new clutch. Did you get it all aligned properly w/ the clutch alignment tool and tighten the pressure plate down to the flywheel properly?

What has happened is that the clutch is not turning the transmission shafts like it should, so it's like you're moving the shifter with the clutch disengaged, even though you're not touching the pedal.

Whatever it is, you're going to have to drop the tranny again and check it out.

have you replaced the passenger axle recently?
same thing happened to me.

my problem was that axle i was using was just an inch short, so when i took a left turn, the axle popped off from the tranny and didnt want to grab anymore.
