HELP starting issues!!! haft to push start it every morning by myself
well i went to sleep a couple nights ago after coming home from a friends house and went to sleep and all was well...then i wake up and try to go to school and i turn the key and.......nothing its not even cranking over....so i check the battery and everything is fine and i check the connections and everything is still fine......i was told it could be my starter acting up but i am hoping its not that cause it just got a new starter less than 3 months ago.
Ohh and btw i have a B20B with an ls tranny super stock!

I think my first question would be if it starts fine the rest of the day? then the other thing I would say is if it is having a hard time starting in the morning then the battery needs to be checked with a tester not just the conections, then if the battery is good then starter ampreage draw needs to be looked at. you should not take more than 200amps to turn a cold 4cly, if it does then there could be resistance in the motor itself or the starter could be going out. one thing is try hitting the starter with a hammer or something in the morning and see if that helps. if it does just get a new starter. if not then one of the other things need to be tested. gl.
add an extra ground, i had to do the same thing, baught a new starter and still the same thing, i added an extra ground to the motor tranny and wired the ground of the starter to the chasis starts up every time
it starts fine the rest of the day as soon as it kicks over i can turn it off and restart it and it will be fine all day.....the battery is still under warranty from Honda and they said its fine....i will try hitting the starter with a hammer today ill brb lol......ohhh and btw i have tons of grounds i have 2 from the valvecover and 3 from the block and tranny...so i think im covered on the grounds....but i will re-check them for good measure!!!!
i hope this hammer thing works its cold here in cali in the mornings!!!! lol

Not as cold as it is here in Canada.

Sounds like a starter to me, or maybe the clutch inhibitor sensor (sensor that tells your clutch is in neutral) mine was doing that for about 1 month before it eventually died completely.
