yes ITR powered
Itīs just that comptech asked me for 300 dollars just for shipping so the total would be around 700

Firstly, probably not. I haven't seen any supah dupah dynoed HP gains for the Mugen Intake. The Comptech system is the better choice. Then you could put the ~$200 difference between towards some R-compound tires (something that really does improve the performance of your car).

for 200 ya can't go wrong with AEM CAI, well maybe its loud but who cares cause your drivin an R right?
id say just get the aem...it prolly has the same hp gains and everything...if your worried about the water get the bypass thinga mobobber.....for the money you were you gonna use for the comptech or mugen get the aem and something else...like a new watch or something...just a suggestion

wish i kept my aem instead of getting the spoon air filter. don't feel much a of a difference with the spoon, but who knows, maybe cause the AEM is deafining when you hit vtec...

I have had stuff sent EMS before and it works out a lot cheaper, if your willing to wait a little longer.
Even at that price an APEXi filter costs more than that in the UK and it's open to the engine bay (which I don't like). I already have a K&N E-2427 so will use that in the Icebox.

The most HP per money is: put a drop in K&N in the stock airbox, remove the resonator and make an Icebox replica.....
, but just couldn't find the right size tubing here in the UK, the only stuff that is easy to get hold of was 68mm drain pipe (which is narrower than the stock tube), or 100mm ducting tube which I tried but was just too big to squash into the bottom of the box (managed to get a small crack in the bottom of the standard box
, only about a cm so still covered by the standard rubber gasket). Anyway I decided life was too short to run around the various wholesalers and try and find a good match (I think 90-95mm would probably have fitted perfectly), and these shops are not very helpful unless you know exactly what your looking for (not round here anyway I've been through it before) so decided to get the Icebox shipped over, just haven't told the misses yet
Why don't you open up the hole in the stock airbox to 100 mm?? Or even bigger: 120 mm. That rubber gasket is not needed.
It may be possible but I perfer my sanity, bolting things up I'm OK, but if it gets too much into manufacturing I pass.
I think a flexible dryer hose will do just fine... That icebox is just too expensive (+shipping).... It's nothing more than a cheap replica of the stock airbox with a tube at the bottom.
