I received a lot of IM's from people who had a similar winding down noise as me.

I took my car in to acura and they checked out my tranny, my drive-train and then found out my front tire was feathered.........they said this was making the noise.....

 

huh... front tire was what?, sorry but I have never heard that saying before. could you fill me in?

 

Do they mean like the rubber is flaking? I heard my acura guy say that when he was rubbing my tires....I touched them and it was kinda like touching peach fuzz on my tires.

 

they showed me.........my tire was slightly warped at the edge.......nothing too big
