Radio error after disconnecting/connecting the battery!
I encountered an unusual issued with my stock radio last night. I was installing a new steering wheel. I had to disconnect my battery, unplug the srs fuse, then proceed to swap steering wheels. when I finished putting the new wheel in, I put the srs fuse back in, and reconnected the car battery. when I went to turn on my car the radio wouldn't turn on...instead there was the word "code" on the screen. It wants me to enter a code to access my radio to listen as normal use. I have never heard of a security code. Has anyone else before?...if so whats the code?!?! Please, please help.

ahh....the dreaded radio code....pull your radio, there is a serial number on the back of the radio. Take that code to the dealership, some dealerships will do it for free, some will charge you. They may want proof of ownership as well. They will print out your radio code for you....
or...
get an aftermarket radio with all the bells and whistles....

I figured I might need to go to the dealership for this, ahh. I'm happy with the stock radio, nothing has gone wrong with it except for this. Maybe its time to buy a upgraded stereo.
Thanks for your help.

look in your glove box, you may see a white sticker with the radio code on it. Mine is like this from the dealer. hopefully they put it there for you

Yeah, Honda told me to look in the glove box for a sticker, but no sticker inside. Looks like my only options are to remove the cd deck to see the serial number. And if I had the owners manual I would look in that, but never had the manual in it when I purchased the car from a private party.
