Default With all the recent compression numbers talk, i thought i'd post this up..

my 98 CW ITR just turned 66k miles last week.. changed the oil today and did a compression check, just for the hell of it(only have had it 2.5 months, never saw a need to).. here's the results:

#1 - 225
#2 - 225
#3 - 230
#4 - 235

seems right on the money, right?

just thought I'd throw this out there, since there's been a lot of low #'s for people lately.. not rubbing it in, just wanted to share some good news..

Dumb question: How do you check the compression?

Could you be more vague? Can I get this at an auto parts store? How does it work?

Compression gauge is available at most autoparts stores, they cost from $15 and up.

Do not pay for this service. If you can change your spark plugs, you can do a compression check.
