But i want to get rid of it, takes up to much space in trunk and i need it
So i found this 8" Amplified Nitrous-Oxide Inspired Subwoofer by bazooka
Any reviews/comments about it

should i just get this one and use old 500w amp but not sure if i can
because it says maximum is 300w

Nice unit, But its going to make you want more in the long run. In a hatch it will fullfill the low end and give you a lil hump in the trunk. Try to go with a 10'' model and use a outboard amp.. But if room is a factor use a onboard amp version. IF you use your 500 watt amp please watch the gains or your voice coils will be toast in no time.

Im a big fan of the bazooka 10' with the built-in amplifier. i have used them in boats, hatchback cars and trucks with limited space behind the seats and have had nothing but good results. doesnt take up to much space, easy to take out. Bazooka FTW!

personally i have always worked at shops and competed in usaci and stuff and i've never been a fan of the powered subs but i would just get a small amp, mount to back of rear seat and get a small setup, 2 8" subs or something in a 10" tall x 30" long box or something and go with that, or even do a downfire setup that way you can pile stuff in there for the most part without worrying about damaging something

I will get you some dimensions tomorrow when i get to work. I wouldnt suggest that infinity bass link. If i had to pick between the two i would go with the bazooka. Hands down, you would be happier.

mrchevez, i got those dimensions for you. 22" long, 13" tall, 11" wide. These dimensions are for the marine one, but the regular one should be about the same size.
