Would an 05 ep3 car cover fit ok on my 97 ej6 ? i dont wanna buy aftermarket car cover, i would rather use a honda one

Just buy one that is supposed to fit your car. I've got two of these California Car covers and they fit 100% perfect.

I don't have pics of my EG cover hosted to post them here, but here's a few from my 1990 Civic wagon - an arguably rare car that no other civic cover would fit at all due to its height and size differences:







I can't see how a Genuine Honda EP cover could fit anywhere near as good as a California Car Cover tailor-made for your exact year/make/model car.

They offer different weaves, etc. too. My Wagon one is a Storm weave breathable, waterproof cover. My EG cover is an indoor-only weave that keeps out micropollens and dust, and it's called Dusttop.

BTW:

Genuine Honda car covers suck IMO. They are not soft and they offer zero options. I've owned one before and even the California Car Covers I currently own fit better and protect better than the genuine Honda covers.

oh really. i didn't know that. cause i just got my ej6 painted and i really want to make sure this new paint job is really protected from the weather.

If it fits then use it. Just make sure to secure it down with whatever they have to secure it. But you also don't want too tight of a fit or you risk scratching your paint.
