car cover

Just buy one that is supposed to fit your car. I've got two of these California Car covers and they fit 100% perfect.
I don't have pics of my EG cover hosted to post them here, but here's a few from my 1990 Civic wagon - an arguably rare car that no other civic cover would fit at all due to its height and size differences:

I can't see how a Genuine Honda EP cover could fit anywhere near as good as a California Car Cover tailor-made for your exact year/make/model car.
They offer different weaves, etc. too. My Wagon one is a Storm weave breathable, waterproof cover. My EG cover is an indoor-only weave that keeps out micropollens and dust, and it's called Dusttop.
BTW:
Genuine Honda car covers suck IMO. They are not soft and they offer zero options. I've owned one before and even the California Car Covers I currently own fit better and protect better than the genuine Honda covers.
If it fits then use it. Just make sure to secure it down with whatever they have to secure it. But you also don't want too tight of a fit or you risk scratching your paint.
