Guys can somebody help me??? I recently got my self a pair of Skunk2 Pro 1 cams and I knew that I had to upgrade the valvetrain, so I did...., but I was paying more attention to the RPM's limit and not to much attention to the lift limit....
, I'm worried that the valvetrain that I got, "will be the right one or the wrong one".....
. Well I got my self a valvetrain from the guys of KMS engine development, and they said that the valvetrain will take up to .500 of lift and will be fine for up to 11,000 rpm with no problem, now I was in the Skunk2 website and I was taking a look of the specs of the cam again, and I know that they are in the INTAKE, lift- 12.6 mm, duration 264 @ 1mm, and in the EXHAUST, lift - 11.9 mm, duration 264 @ 1mm, but in there website, they have a whole bunch of numbers, which I really don't quite understand all them numbers (yup, I know, a little stupid), but the numbers of the VTEC of the intake cam sayed .500" lift, 296° Adv. duration @ .004 and 255° @.050"??????? which is more than the valvetrain can take, or at least that what I understand..., now what the hell those last numbers means...?????
Can somebody please help me with this, I don't wan't to drop a valve..... and I want to have no worries, am I ok with that valvetrain or not? Appreciate your help...

it is always wise to use the valvetrain intended for the cams...Skunk2 recommends for their Pro Series cams to be mated with their Pro Series valvetrain...
Its safer, you know it works, and if something happens, you know its under warranty.
I would ditch the valvetrain you have now, and get the full pro series skunk2 valvetrain...Its not that expensive either compared to other companies, and its a great product...
