ATTENTION Theives and those who've been robbed!
I'm not getting into specifics of how, or where this is going on FINALLY, but law enforcement in our country has began using modified Integra Type-R's to catch thieves in the act.
The Type-R's are equipped with door beams that LOCK shut after the vehicle has been hotwired, leaving the criminal stuck in the car as law enforcement comes and scoops them up. They've already begun implementing these "traps" at shopping malls etc... and I think it's cool as ****. I'd PAY to sit and watch one of them sometime.
It's about time.

I know... I contemplated not posting it on here... but I couldn't resist. I really think that a majority of car thieves do not come on Honda-Tech though... and those who do, and DO read this thread... may reconsider stealing more of our cars from here on out.

I really think that a majority of car thieves do not come on Honda-Tech though... and those who do, and DO read this thread... may reconsider stealing more of our cars from here on out.

To answer your questions.... the cops are staked out, watching these rigged cars. It's a sting operation. I've heard the windows are lexan, and the car is un-driveable even once running. I hear that once the car is indeed running, the assailant has proven that his intention was to steal the car and not just break in for a shift **** etc.

Ive seen this on Cops before. The windows were break proof because the guy had both feet going at it and wouldnt budge. With the in car camera, it was priceless.

I've seen this before on other TV shows.....it works quite well.....they have a hidden camera in the car, and it's remote controlled (to a point).....the stakeout vans are always very close as well.

Thats a good idea for the cops but how many steal from shopping malls? are the windows bullet pooof? I dont think this will work but who know anything to help is a good thing right.
