Default Eg Civic Exhaust. Not another poll don't worry.

I have a Greddy evo muffler on my stock piping that my friends dad welded up. It looks horrible b/c it was for a coupe. By the way I have a 92 cx hatch, built d16z6, si tranny.

I've posted before and nobody will tell me what they would do.

Should I get new piping and a dynomax muffler, if so what diameter. And could anyone show me a pic?

OR should I save for a apexi ws2 or n1 or something similar?

I don't have $500 DOLLARS to spend.

Give me your opinion and post pics of your hatch's exhaust Thanks!

save for a catback....welding mufflers on stock pipes is ricey and does nothing but make ur car sound obnoxious.

ws2 = very clean and nice low tone exhaust

N1 is a little more ricey and loud....

your choice....but i like ws2

I was gonna get all new 2.5" piping and a dynomax or something similar. Would this sound good?

And I had a ws2 on my lude. It sounded good.

Whats the typical cost for it to be done?

But I'm probably going with that since I have a limited budget.

Hatch exhaust pics anyone?

Just save and get a WS2.

I don't know about 2.5" piping on a n/a z6?

I'd stick with 2.25"

The ws2 is only a axle-back so I would have to get new piping anyway, if I'm correct? and its going to be turbo'd.

The spec 2 has a stock look to it. But couldn't I just do straight piping w/ a resonator and have the same sound?

My bad if I'm stupid. Exhausts aren't my thing and I just got my civic.

Thats what I'm looking for but I'm not sure if its too long like my greddy. I don't think so though. When I take my car to the muffler shop sometime this month, I'll post pics of the outcome. Thanks for all your help!

If by crazy loud you mean I can't talk to the person next to me when I'm in VTEC then yeah it's loud..

I have a Spec II that's currently collecting dust in my garage if anyone is interested... However be warned, you WILL BE pulled over if you drive with this exhaust on the street.

I think it sounded awesome. I just got tired of my ears hurting every time I went for a drive. Although every now and then I feel like putting it back on and driving around at 3 am.

I would go to tunertoys.com and order the piping. they have all kind of sizes. then a high flow cat resonator and a vibrant muffler or a dynomax. depending on what your doing with the car, 2.25 to 3" should be good. I run the piping no muffler resonator or cat....buts its turbo so it sounds wicked. i spent like 250 bucks.

As I replied in the IM you sent me. Make a reasonable offer. Reasonable to me sounds something like $250 shipped.

Better hurry cause I'm starting to feel tempted to put it back on.
