Considering an 06... any reliability issues with these cars?
I am looking into purchasing an 06 4door 6 speed V6. Its a rather nice vehicle. I have looked through the 03+ accord section and seen some scary things about the 08s.
Question is are the v6s from the 06, 07-ish models reliable enough for daily drivers? I have always had 4 bangers need to drive something with more torque. The MPG are rated at 30 on the highway is it really that good?!
aside from those things... do they have a front lip like the 2 door for the four door?
thanks

I will vouch for the 30mpg deal on the highway, just got 278 at the bottom of the halfway mark and i filled up it was 9.2 gallons which is right around 30 mpg.. i havent had any issue's with it. 6th gear is great for long highway runs, run regular in it 87. Maintain it
would recommend a coupe though
......and i dont believe HFP makes a front lip for the 4 door..maybe look for aftermarket?

definately. the car is reliable, but you never know if people didn't take care of the transmission
i.e. putting it in drive while the car is still rolling back in reverse, etc
good luck

true. thanks
I forgot to mention, its certified pre-owned the warranty is supposed to be "7 years 100,000 miles" for the powertrain. i think this is from the original purchase date so i will have about 5 years 70,000 miles. if the trans goes bad honda will take care of it, right? anyone ever have the trans replace under warrantee?
