Default painting the wheels..quick question

i have painted my rx7 wheels like 5 times..im pretty good at it now..always used duplic color wheel paint and have never had any paint come off what so ever. my question is when i painted the rims black i used the duplicolor clear and it makes the black shiney.which was fine for the look...well now i wanna paint the wheel on my crx black but i want it to be flat..u can get flat black but once the clear goes on its going to be shiny..any suggestions?

2 Choices:

1) Flat black paint and no clear
2) Clear with a flattening agent over any black (even non-flat)

there are a few options... there are some three part singe stage flat black paints... SEM makes one called hot rod black that works really well. you can also do just a regular flat black single stage with a flattening agent in it.. this works and is the cheapest option.. but is also the most "chalky".. the best and most expensive way is to do a basecoat/clearcoat... paint it black basecoat and spray a flat clearcoat over it. (yes i said flat clearcoat)

or if you wanna be really cheap.. get a flat black spray bomb and go at it
