To start, I have a
2007 Civic Si 4 door
Galaxy Grey Metallic
27,000 miles on the clock
Mods
HFP suspension
HFP front and rear lips
Kenwood Excellon DNX-8120 Indash DVD/Navigation.
So Here is the problem. About mid summer, i was driving and i noticed that my windshield washer squirters were leaking, when i went over bumps, or when i am going to fast. It will just squirt a tiny bit on my windshield, but it happens every few seconds so its more than enough to really bother me.
My first thought was bring it to my local Honda dealership. Its covered under warranty they can fix it. Brought it to my local Stealership, they kept it for 3 days, didn't pay any attention to what i told them, and all they did was replace the washer nozzles on the cowl. My local dealership is a bunch of morons but i figured i would give them a second chance as previous services have been horrible(they crashed my mothers pilot). They will never EVER get my business again.
My next thought was fix it myself, it must be some pressurized switch in the motor, so i ordered the MOTOR from majestic with the appropriate gasket and replaced it. Still spitting on the windshield.
I have asked for opinions from friends who have knowledge of electronics, and the only logical explanation i heard was possibly a bad relay, which is causing short bursts of current to drive the motor. which would explain when going over bumps, the contacts may connect and it creates current to push the motor.
So my question is does anyone else have an opinion, should i take it to another hodna dealer a little less local(still not that far). Or should i proceed fixing it. Also, where and what kind of relay should i use to replace the current one. Im not sure where and what relay would need to be replaced. Maybe a wiring harness problem, im not sure, all i know is i dont want to be pee'd on like R-kelly's cousin anymore

what exactly did you order and install?
its hard to guess being over the internet. but id say if youve had both nozzles replaced and whatever part you purchased and installed yourself. go to a different dealer and get it taken care of before your warranty is up soon.

As i said, i replaced the washer fluid motor(small electric motor at the bottom of the fluid reservoir), and the appropriate gasket.

Thats a stupid statement, as if i aim for the bumps on the road. If you live in the northeast which you obviously do being in Boston, you'd realize that is next to impossible. And im talking about small bumps AND big bumps, which are all felt with the HFP suspension. I avoid as many potholes and speed bumps as i can. I am no NEWB to this game.
I am going to bring it in to the dealer. I usually just try to stay away from them as much as i can, do to the quality of service most dealers are known for. For most small jobs i find i am a much better mechanic than the ASE certified Honda technicians that work in these dealerships. But i do not want to start tearing apart the electrical work in my new(ish) car so i guess i am forced to bring it in.

Check the cap. There might be a vent that is plugged on the cap.
My theory is that the cap is sealing the system and the extra pressure build-up is what is squirting on you.
Leave the cap off a few days and see.
I can't believe they changed the nozzles.....

my car was just doing this.
the dealership narrowed it down to two possible problems: a loose wire that makes contact when i hit a bump (some sort of a grounding problem), or in my case, the dealer tech said it was the washer hose wrapped near my front right suspension component) in which case, everytime i hit a bump, it pressed onto the hose, causing it to spray short bursts on my windshield.
their explanation was vague at best, but the point is, they did fix the problem.
but in my case, the dealership fixed it for free regardless of mods (eibach pro kit, rims, tires, etc.).

im going to take a look at my suspension. That is a very sound theory. I put the HFP kit on myself so it sounds plausible that it could have got caught during the install. This started happening after the install of the susp. How long after i couldn't tell ya but i know it wasn't doing it b4
