Default AEM fuel filter flow rating?

It's time for more fuel, and after replacing the injectors and pump, the fuel system still falls short... Looks like the stock lines have been maxed out for my particular setup.

I am routing new -6AN lines from the pump, but currently I have the AEM high flow fuel filter that was meant for stock lines. I found fittings that I can make it AEM filter work, but I am skeptical of its flow rating though. I like the AEM filter though and want to keep using it, but there isn't much information about it. After doing an hour of searching, I haven't ran into any big power folks running this filter, and there is absolutely no flow data available out there.

Anyone here making big power on the AEM filter, please post here.. Or any good experienced speculations are welcomed as well

not much help...but anything over about 550 swe switch to AN lines and atleast a aeromotive filter. odds are if you have doubts about it, your probably right. go with your instincts lol

then again i have made over 800 using those little stupidass earls filters that clog up every 3 miles. i dont know...when it comes to fuel, better safe than sorry.

Thanks for the info.. Looks like it's one of those moments to test out this AEM filter to the limits...Haha Everything else around it will be upgraded except this AEM filter. I just like the way this filter looks, and the big capacity of the AEM filter serves as an accumulator and dampens out the pulses from the pump(s). My fuel pressure gauge was rock steady just from switching to this filter from the OEM one, so I am fond of it.

I will be plumbing the fuel system with fittings that I can just switch over to a common Russell/Aeromotive filter on the dyno. Shooting for 600-650WHP, so I will let you know
