Did the front mount on my car with silicon, But it wasn't completely gone just starting to split and knock around. Pretty much I got some glade wrap and covered one side and squirted as much silicon in as I could. Then let it dry for a day. Then pull glade wrap off and let it dry for 3 more days.

3M window weld... Did this to a few mounts and it stiffened them up quite a bit.

Make sure you let them fully dry before putting them on. May take up to 2 days.

Go to OSH or home depot, and buy a tube of polyurethane.

from what i've heard from a lot of people inserts are a little harsh for everyday driving.

the windshield polyurethane is going to be a whole lot stronger than the stuff you'll get at home depo.

i actually did this to my front mount because it was out like yours and i couldn't find one anywhere except new. so i spent the 8 bucks and gave it a few days. this stuff takes forever to dry if you cake it on. i would recommend putting it on in layers. good luck

My DA is turbo, stiffer is better for me.

They aren't that harsh either.

Inserts are a bit harsh if you install all 3 of them... if you just install the two front torque mount inserts, then it will be like stock....

uhhhh no. NOTHING like stock.

I recently installed only the 2 front torque mount poly inserts (torn original mounts), and it vibrated my dashboard, door panels, pretty much everything in the whole car while sitting at idle. It was very loud and extremely annoying.

That was $40 wasted, because I pulled them out and just bought brand new OEM engine mounts to replace the torn original ones. Much smoother and quieter now.

You are not kidding...If you completely fill your torque mounts your whole car shakes. To be honest, I have had both window welded mounts and energy mount inserts, and the window weld mounts are much more harsh in my opinion. For the money however, it is an inexpensive way to gain a little bit of traction, as long as you have a good set of tires. If you run junk tires you will actually be more apt to spin them with your mounts this way.

Sealant will be quite a bit softer then window weld. But it will work just not as solid.

Window weld is an automotive sealant for things like windshields. You basically got caulk must be...IDK how well that will work. Good luck!
