Haha no offense but just based on your post I would say noob, but we all started somewhere. Ive learned alot in the past year ive owned my honda.

Im currently doing exactly what you are talking about. Im putting a d16z6 in my car and boosting it. Anyways here is what you gotta do.

First is your car currently Multi point fuel injection? If not you have a fair amount of wiring to do. Look up MPFI Swap on google and if you have access the actual Honda Service manual from a honda dealership they usually let you make a couple photo copys. Get all the wiring copied for the ECU plugs so you know what is supposed to go where.

Then your next step would be to get a OBD0 to OBD1 jumper harness, Im getting mine off ebay. A shop in OR i go to for parts says they get all theres off ebay and have never had problems. Then you need a distributor adapter or you can find writups to make your own. Then its just a matter of getting the wiring straight and getting the motor in.

If your car isnt multi point injection you have a bit of work to do otherwise not too bad. Hope that helps

You could convert it yourself, but many people suggest otherwise so it's up to you. I'm attempting it, but I am trying to do all the research without asking to many questions so I don't have to be bitched at about how I should buy some ridiculous $190 harness. You can send your OBD1 and OBD0 harness to rywire and they will mail it back to you modified to your desires, then you only clip it all together. makes it easy, but I hear it's around $400 bucks. You can also buy a jumper harness, so that you can run the OBD1 ECU with your original OBD0 harness.
