car stumbles under acceleration
This is the problem, the engine stumbles while accelerating, it shakes and won't pick up speed fast enough, but if done smoothly, it would act normal. any suggestions, it's a 00 v6 accord vtec
I have a smiliar issue with my 96 4cyl LX.
So far, I've cleaned the IACV, EGR Ports, & Injectors. It got better, for about 100mi, then every thing came back.
I checked the spark plugs last night, and I found that they were covered in oil. Im going to pick up a Valve Cover Gasket Kit and replce those seals. That might be the issue.
If that doesnt work, then its onto Injector Cleaner & Sea Foam.
I have another thread like this somewhere on here. Someone also told me it could be the axle. I havent checked that yet.

You probably have a clogged EGR port on the plentum (intake manifold) Unless you can get your hands on the special drill bit to install the pipe kit you can just take the plentum off and clean the port out with a screwdriver.

The valve cover gasket isn't going to fix it. Are you SURE you cleaned all of the ports good (remove the egr plate under the fuel injectors and clean the ports and the plate, as well as make sure the EGR passage under the valve is clear)?

Ross 2.0 I cleaned the EGR Ports, and plate throughly. Upon removing the injectors, I noticed ALOT of gunk on them, so I cleaned them as well.
By "EGR passage under the valve", are you referring to under the ports? If so, how would I get in there without taking everything apart?
