Default Accord 2000 SE rear brakes remove upper return spring
Is there an easy way to remove the upper return spring? I couldn't budge it. Do I need a spring removal tool? Is there something I'm missing? I'm trying to replace the brake shoes.

Pop the bottom of the shoes out of the retainer and remove the lower spring first. That makes life a lot easier. Even easier than that is to remove the rear hub.
