s13 240sx.. specially with sr20DET swap == "me too!"

biggest bandwagon car since the hype-r. They are cool.. but so common these days.. I personally am kinda over owning common cars..

rare cars with no swappable parts == less theft

a hybrid for a daily driver. i couldnt do it.. i'd just keep spending $ making it faster and faster.

s13.. i couldnt save money with that either. i'd do like stated above, sr20det. strawberry face front, jdm tail lights and what not.

lol OK jordo..

s13 240sx.. specially with sr20DET swap == "me too!"
In other words, I see more S13's with DET swaps than without. It's the "new thing" that has caught on recently, at least around here.

biggest bandwagon car since the hype-r. They are cool.. but so common these days.. I personally am kinda over owning common cars..
The Hype-R became "cool" and everyone wanted one, same thing as the S13's now. I am over owning cars that you see all the time (hondas, s13s, etc)

rare cars with no swappable parts == less theft
A car with no parts you can put into another model and a car that's not too common is less likely to get stolen.

Wait 'til winter... buy early 90's Miata for cheap (as not much demand during winter). They are just as fun to drive as an ITR, even without VTEC. And, if you want more power, you can always add a super/turbo-charger to it and run 13-14sec 1/4 and eat autoX competition for breakfast.

Or, if you want something boring but super-reliable... get a early 90's Corolla or Geo Prizm (Corolla w/ Geo badge). Or, also, an EG... but probably won't find any with low mileage for cheap.

I paid $500 for my daily driver. Of course, now that it's 99 degrees every day and the A/C is out of freon, I drive my "nice" car all the time

Broaden your horizons, look past the hatchcraps and Nissan/Toyota stuff. Think state-vehicle Crown Vics, and old Town Cars, and **** like that. Doesn't have to say "Honda" on it to be fun to drive

I say get a 88-91 CRX and drop a swap if there is money left over. Otherwise just drive it stock. Get's good mileage if that matters to you.

I say you get a stock Tercel, Corolla and leave it alone.

The last thing you need is two money pits.
