I got a oil pressure gauge from a friend. it has a harness with it with like 8 wires if i remember and no sender. do all oil pressure gauges need a sender or are there electric ones that connect to the oil pressure connector wires? need some help on wiring it up. ill take pics of it in alittle bit and post them so it makes it alittle easier. from what i remember theres 1-red 2-black 1-purple 1-white and a few others

 

who is the guage made by?

 

my bad theres 6 wires. 2-black 1-red 1-white- 1 purple 1-gray

still need to know who makes the gauge? But I can tell you there is a +12v and gnd to run the gauge. There will be a switched +12 and gnd for the back light. then a set of signal wires from the sending unit. Here is a idea go on the companies web site that makes it I bet you can get the info there
