Default Carbon Fiber hood model confusion

First off I own a 91 CRX HF and I need a new hood so I'm looking into a CF one but I'm a little confused to what the difference would be between these two the OEM model and the SIR model. I'm thinking about painting it so I'd just like it to look stock in form so would I chose the OEM model? Thanks alot in advance

Yes the oem model is like what you have now. The SIR model would be for the JDM front ends. It would have the center raised unlike your current one that has the center of the hood lower then the sides.
But if you going to paint it..I really wouldnt waste my time on a carbon fiber....try finding like a fiberglass one or something.

if u go with the oem look and decide to swap out the engine or already have a swap u will prob have to cut the hood from the inside a bit to make the engine fit in there.

I'm rockin a D15B with plans on turbo so hood height isn't a problem at the moment just a real nasty dent and rust. I'm trying to go for a relative clean sleeper look thats why i'm thinking about painting the new hood

summer ride with some mild track or drag runs over the course of the summer if i feel up to it. At this point it is mainly just going to be a nice looking DD with aspirations. THe whole reason I was looking into the CF hoods was to upgrade to the lighter hood now since i need one instead of buying one down the road after i've replaced the hood once.
