Setting the TEIN SS coilover higher than the reference heigh
Hi,
In my 5th gen Prelude I've a Tein Super Street coilover kit
I'd like to lift up the car a little bit for the winter season.
The Tein manual says that use only the "reference heigh" (25mm) with the standard Tein springs.
What will happen if I increase the heigh with about 10-15mm?

Short answer - the car will sit 10-15mm higher.

clear
but increasing the height of the coilover will change the spring load and will change the coilover work point.
note that on the super street set only the hieght is adjustable, the spring load not adjustable independent (like e.g. on the Flex)
If the spring load will change maybe it will damage the coilover. Am I wrong?

I don't know what the manual means by "reference height 25mm", but I don't see any reason why the coilover could be damaged by raising it up.
