Default I need advice with my mini-me project from experienced owners please.

Ok I have a D16y7 motor and my goal is to swap a jdm D15b vtec on it and then hopefully a 50trim. I know I need a vtec computer, vtec solenoide, arp head studs, and iam planning to build the bottom end and the top. So can anyone let me know what else I may need any suggestions? Help would be very appreciated this is my 1st project thanks.

Swap a jdm d15b vtec head on it? A p28 is the ecu that is most commonly used. The vtec solenoid should already be on the d15b, unless someone took it off.
A new headgasket is recommended, with copper spray. and might as well get cams and get it tuned. and if your gonna build the bottom, high compression pistons if your going all motor, or vitara setup if your going turbo.

Thanks a lot for the tip I appreciate it a lot. And iam going to build the bottom end and boost it safeley after the head is installed and also with some arp head studs. If I get them I would need which ones the d15 or d16? Oh will the Intake and exhaust manifold fit on the d15 head?
