Can someone tell me what the difference between 92-95 civic shocks, and 96-00 shocks? Many companies have different part numbers for each of those years, most 96 and up applications seem to be cheaper. What are the differences? Thanks

Thats a good question. I'm planning on getting a eg hatch soon and just want to throw my koni yellows and coilovers onto the new one. but will they fit?

i hope so cause i spent some $$$ on this stuff and it is still brand spankin new.

 

Well i can tell you this much. The rears of the 96-00 dont fit properly. You have to shave a part off a tad or something like that. But other than that it will go in. What I really want to know is about the actually shock contruction. What makes them different?

 

first instinct to me is the difference in the way they mount and their dimensions.

 

i put tokico illuminas from a 2000 si on my 1994 dx with no problem
