car idles low at start up.
If it is just when you start up, check your idle air control valve on your throttle body. That valve controls your idle during starts and cold weather, so that your car warms up quicker. Your idle should be around 650-750 I believe, you can fine tune it via the screw on your throttle body. Probably should check out your idle air control valve just to be sure though, mine went all whacky a few months ago..

thats what i was thinking. my car starts up and its at about 700. i thought it was suppose to idle higher than that til the car warms up.

no smoke. just started doing it a few weeks ago. btw, LS vtec. has been running for over 2 years now with no problems.
