Yesterday i was driving on the highway and when i got off and stopped at a light heard an odd noise. I then found that evey time a shift or when i press and release the gas it makes knocking sound. also when this knocking happeneds the shifter jerks front to back slightly. It goes in to all gears and doesnt grind or anthing. Is it the tranny or maybe the linkage? Also at the time i was driving it was raining heavy I doubt it could affect it but its better you know all the details

 

Possibly something loose on the engine?

 

sounds like a loose motor mount or mounts, or possible a bad motor mount. Been burning out lately?

 

Clutch dumps at redline much?

 

no i dont burn out od dump the clutch

 

got under the car and all mounts seem solid linkage is solid nothing looks out of the ordinary any ideas anyone??
